Five stylish bedrooms are beautifully appointed with contemporary en-suite facilities and every amenity today’s discerning guest would expect. A generous welcome tray adds that extra special touch too. One ground floor double room is suitable for easy access and the dining room is also at ground level.

Start the day with a delicious home cooked breakfast always using fresh, local produce whenever possible. The menu offers an extensive choice and includes many gluten free options which are clearly identified (GF). Vegetarian options are also available. Perhaps begin with fruit juice, tea/coffee, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and selection of cereals. A hearty traditional Full English breakfast is served or simply choose items individually if preferred. Among a tempting variety of lighter options are scrambled eggs on toast, buttermilk pancakes with a choice of savoury and sweet toppings, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale, and smoked salmon. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and advise on menu selection. Accommodation offers ten luxuriously appointed bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, each with every facility for the discerning guest. Family rooms are available (minimum age 4 years) and dogs are made very welcome within the hotel (they are on holiday too!) and in the garden where dog litter bins are provided. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel or in the garden.

Formerly specialising in Greek food, Zeus is a family and disabled-friendly venue offering an excellent range of favourite British and European dishes to tempt everyone. The menus offer a great selection of appetising starters, delicious main courses and irresistible homemade desserts. The nautical themed restaurant is bright, spacious and immaculately clean. Food is made to order and is of the highest quality. As well as providing superb fish and chips, the varied menu also includes an All Day Breakfast, Baps & Sandwiches, Burgers & Kebabs, Jacket Potatoes and Salads. Those wishing to eat gluten free are also catered for with a good selection of GF options which are highlighted separately on the menu. All fish and chips are prepared in GF batter and fish options include sea bass, cod, haddock and plaice.

For something more substantial there are tasty burgers, quiches, pies with various fillings (chicken & mushroom, beef in red wine), lasagne, cottage pie, GF chips, and much more besides. Among the tempting sweet treats are delicious homemade cakes, doughnuts, cheesecakes and the famous Devon cream tea.

Neil has many years experience in selecting the best produce from reliable local suppliers to ensure that his dishes are full of flavour and freshness. The fish menu changes daily according to availability and the set Three Course Evening Menu is complemented with sauté potatoes and a selection of fresh vegetables. Neil’s creative dishes are beautifully presented to your table in this stylish and contemporary restaurant.
