Split over two levels, the interior is contemporary and stylish with a stunning colour scheme of lagoon blue, rich mellow brown, hints of pastel grey and glamorous lighting which combine to bring the relaxing vibe of the Caribbean. This family-run restaurant is proud to offer a seasonal menu of locally sourced produce to create delicious dishes with an international flavour plus traditional Welsh fare with a Catch 22 twist. All dishes are cooked from scratch enabling Head Chef Neil and team to easily adapt dishes to suit dietary requirements such as gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help you choose from the menu and offer advice and reassurance regarding food preparation.

Those wishing to eat gluten free will be spoilt for choice as much of the menu can be adapted on request. To start the day treat yourself to a morning coffee and cake served from 10.30am. The Main menu is then served from midday Wednesday to Saturday, with a fixed price menu available on Sundays. Light Bites include a rice bowl salad or a various ciabatta sandwiches. For later in the day there is plenty of choice, although known for their seafood dishes, Catch 22 offers a whole lot more including local steaks, plus vegetarian and vegan dishes. Caffi’r Parc, located in the magical Holyhead Breakwater Country Park, is a gem of a cafe specialising in delicious meals from locally sourced produce.
Dine in comfort in the modern and tasteful extension to the former quarry house, or at the outside picnic tables located at the front and in the enclosed garden at the rear where there is also a well-equipped children’s play area.
The friendly staff provide excellent service with a good range of salads, sandwiches, baked potatoes and other hot meals. There is a wide range of gluten free options at reasonable prices, the homemade gluten free cakes being a particular favourite.
Well refreshed, the hike to the top of the mountain and back to South Stack will be ‘a piece of cake’, gluten free of course!
