“Coffee & Wine at No.9” is the ethos driving this wonderful and quirky venue located in the vibrant old town area of historic Hastings. Assured of a warm welcome by owners Amy and Ben, this popular contemporary styled restaurant is fast gaining a reputation for its delicious food, award-winning coffees and superb drinks menu including draft beers, wines, spirits and fantastic cocktails.
Having worked tirelessly in the restaurant industry for some years, Amy has put her experience and passion into creating menus that encourage sharing delicious food with favourite beverages in an informal, relaxed and fun atmosphere. From Thursday through Saturday the Bottomless Brunch menu provides a choice of four tantalising platter boards including drinks for a 2-hour slot from 11am until 4pm … the perfect way to share good food and drink with friends and family.
In addition, a daily menu includes tempting nibbles, small plates & sandwiches, waffles & pancakes, loaded nachos, chicken dishes, a variety of generous sharing platters, delicious dips and sides, and much more. Special dietary needs are also well catered for and clearly marked on the menus as VG (vegetarian), V (vegan), and the crossed-through wheat symbol familiar for gluten free. Meals can be adapted to suit your needs if booked in advance. The friendly and knowledgeable staff at Babel’s are more than happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients.
