About
The Caunton Beck is a free house and fine dining restaurant in the heart of the lovely village of Caunton, near Newark in Nottinghamshire.
Originally a 16th Century hostelry the building is full of rustic charm and still retaining some original features. In the winter, the main bar is warm and welcoming with the flamed fire where you can relax and read the daily papers. The dining room is what you would expect from a country pub with warm décor and country furnishings. On a sunny day you can relax on the terrace enjoying your meal or your cooling drink under a shady umbrella.
Breakfast is served until 11.30am with a variety of choices from Smoked Haddock and Poached Eggs to a hearty Full English with home- made gluten-free rolls from our local baker and fresh farm produce.
We have a Main Menu and a Specials Menu each offering a variety of starters, main courses and desserts uniquely created by our talented chefs.
Our menus also contain a wide variety of gluten-free and vegetarian choices.
