Harrogate Fisheries is a fish and chip takeaway owned and run since October 2019 by husband and wife Tim and Sophie Phillips and their excellent team. This very popular venue has deservedly gained a reputation for its premium quality fish and chips, freshly cooked to order, and the warm and friendly welcome extended to all its valued customers.
The extensive menu also offers such favourites as delicious Yorkshire fishcakes, scampi, sausages, chicken nuggets, pies, burgers, fritters, filled buns and more besides. Accompaniments include a selection of tasty curry sauces, homemade tartare sauce, gravy, mushy peas and baked beans. Also available are a variety of Meal Deals as well as boxed meals served with a drink for children.
The team also caters for those with dietary requirements and a separate gluten free menu is provided (Mondays only, 5.30pm-7.30pm) offering a fantastic range of GF options. Choose from succulent fish (large, regular & small haddock), chips, fish bites, breaded scampi, Yorkshire fishcake, chicken nuggets and choice of accompaniments. Also available is a Meal Deal for 2 persons and a Children’s Meal option. Meticulous attention is paid to the preparing and cooking of gluten free food and the helpful and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding ingredients and food preparation.
The premises currently adheres strictly to Covid-19 social distancing guidelines. A takeaway service is operated offering a covered outside waiting area. The full menu is available to order online through the website or via the mobile app for click & collect. If home delivery is preferred, this service is provided through Deliveroo. In addition, a free senior delivery service to elderly residents in Bilton is currently operating on Wednesday and Saturday evenings between 5.00pm and 6.30pm.
