Located in the heart of the delightful rural village of Lucker, The Apple Core is a family run restaurant specialising in authentic Mediterranean dishes inspired by al fresco style dining. Originally the village school, the attractive stone building has been transformed into a stylish venue of contemporary elegance providing a relaxing and memorable dining experience.
The exciting menu offers delicious freshly prepared food including appetisers, starters, mains and sides, pizzas and pasta dishes, galettes and crepes, plus irresistible desserts. Those wishing to eat gluten free are well catered for and vegetarian and vegan options are also available. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help you choose the highlighted GF choices from the menu and to answer any questions regarding food preparation.
Much of the menu is gluten free or can be adapted on request. For that special taste of France try a Breton Galette (savoury crêpe made with buckwheat flour, usually with a savoury filling), or sample delicious homemade Seafood Tagliatelle or classic Italian Lasagne. The amazing selection of crepes are offered gluten free and served with fresh pouring cream or locally made ice cream. Choices include Banoffee, Maple and Pecan or Spiced Apple & Calvados, to name but a few.
To accompany your meal, choose from a selection of fine wines and premium draft beers and why not round off with an indulgent dessert, speciality coffee or tea.
