Located close to the Menai Strait and pier in popular Menai Bridge, the Liverpool Arms can trace its origins back to 1843 and is proud to continue its legacy as the only remaining nautical-themed pub in the town. The traditional interior retains many character features which combine with contemporary styling to create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Outside there is an attractive covered courtyard, beer garden and decking area where dogs are welcome, just perfect to relax and enjoy a drink in the warmer months.
The pub has built a solid reputation over many years with locals and visitors alike for its excellent food, impressive drinks menu and friendly staff. The menus have been carefully designed in the 5-star hygiene rated kitchen by three talented chefs to provide something for everyone using fresh, locally sourced quality produce whenever possible. Choose from appetising Starters and delicious Mains (steak, chicken, fish & seafood, pasta, rice dishes, pies and much more), and accompanying tasty Sides. Burgers with choice of filling are served in a toasted brioche bun with chips, salad garnish and homemade onion rings. To round off choose from a tempting selection of irresistible homemade Desserts. A separate Children’s Menu offers all their usual favourites. Dietary needs are also very well catered for across the menus including gluten free (GF), vegetarian (V) and vegan (Ve) which are clearly marked. The helpful and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and are happy to discuss specific requirements in advance.
In addition the drinks menu includes an extensive selection of gins, fine malt whiskeys and award-winning beers and ales having received the Cask Marque and Good Beer Guide 2020 and the Guinness Perfect Pour Award.
