The Cheshire Cat Restaurant, Bar and Hotel is situated in the heart of the historic market town of Nantwich. Originally built in the 17th-century, the Tudor style building has been carefully restored and refurbished to provide first class service and accommodation for the discerning visitor. Located over two levels, a wealth of character features have been retained including stone flagged floors, timbered walls, beamed ceilings, open brickwork and leaded windows, a wonderful backdrop to today’s contemporary and stylish decor. Richly coloured furnishings, chic lighting and glass panels are stylishly incorporated to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere throughout. The guest rooms too are individually designed and beautifully appointed. The downstairs bar area is spacious and informal and leads to a stunning conservatory and garden courtyard, the perfect place to dine al fresco or just chill with a drink. Friday and Saturday evenings are lively at The Cheshire Cat with entertainment being provided by a resident DJ.
The stunning upper floor restaurant has deservedly gained a reputation for its excellent seasonal cuisine produced by a talented chef and his team. The menu offers Breakfast & Brunch, Tapas, Starters, Light Lunches, Sandwiches, Gourmet Burgers, Mains, Grills, Sides and Desserts. Dietary requirements are also catered for including gluten free (gf), vegetarian (v) and vegan (ve) and options are clearly marked on the menu. A separate gluten free menu is also provided and available from 12 noon daily. Many dishes can be adapted and a separate dedicated fryer is used for any fried elements. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to advise and answer any questions regarding food preparation and ingredients.
