Beck’s Fish & Chip restaurant and takeaway occupies a quiet location in the beautiful coastal resort of Carbis Bay located just one mile from St Ives. It has the advantage of a large car park for customer use at the rear of the building. It is a well established family business which has deservedly gained a reputation with locals and visitors alike for its premium quality food and excellent service.
As well as freshly cooked, traditional tasty fish (cod, haddock, hake, plaice, scampi) and delicious golden chips, the impressive menu includes fish cakes, sausages, various burgers, pies, chicken, chicken nuggets, goujons, choice of pizzas and much more, including a great selection of sides. All fish is responsibly sourced from accredited sustainable fishing grounds. Potatoes are locally grown and chips are prepared daily.
The team at Beck’s are passionate about catering for dietary needs and much of the menu is available Gluten Free, clearly identified (GF) and (GFA) on the menus. Every care is taken regarding cross contamination. All Gluten Free meals are prepared in their own designated area within the kitchens and cooked in a separate fryer using specific utensils. There are excellent Vegetarian options (v) available too.
The same high degree of care is taken in the serving of meals in the restaurant. Cosy and traditional with an attractive bar and lounge area, the spacious dining room offers appetising starters, delicious main meals, irresistible desserts and an extensive drinks menu. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are always happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and advise on menu choice.
