The family-run Applegarth Villa Hotel occupies an enviable location in the heart of popular Windermere. A fantastic drinks menu, including fine wines, gins, fabulous cocktails and excellent selection of whiskies, is the perfect accompaniment to the meal of your choice.
The head chef and team are proud to source local Cumbrian produce in the creation of wonderful fresh, seasonal British dishes which are beautifully presented at your table. The impressive menus offer appetising starters, delicious main courses, side dishes, and irresistible desserts. Those requiring a gluten free or vegetarian diet are also well catered for. Most of the menu is available gluten free (GF) and dishes can also be adapted on request (*-). The friendly and knowledgeable staff are only too happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and to advise on menu choice. A gluten free full English breakfast (including sausages and black pudding) is also available and the renowned Applegarth Afternoon Tea can be made gluten free on request.
