Bellis Brothers is a long-established family-owned garden centre offering a wonderful day out for all the family. Situated in the stunning Dee Valley on the outskirts of Holt village, it is conveniently located close to Wrexham and the historic city of Chester.
Established in 1860, the site today is home to an extensive Garden Centre, Farm Shop and Butchers, Gift Department, Restaurant and seasonal Pick Your Own experience.
During the summer months, visitors can enjoy the famous Pick Your Own strawberries and a variety of soft fruits. In October, families can pick their own pumpkins and explore the ever-popular Spooky Maize Maze.
When it’s time to relax, the Strawberry Fields Restaurant offers delicious home-cooked food in bright and comfortable surroundings, with stunning views across the Welsh countryside. Outdoor seating is also available during warmer months, making it the perfect place to unwind with friends over coffee and a bite to eat.
The extensive menu includes all-day breakfasts, light lunches, children’s meals, main courses, grills, salads, indulgent desserts, sweet treats and Afternoon Tea. Their Sunday Roast Dinner is popular and not to be missed.
The restaurant also caters extremely well for dietary needs including Vegan, Vegetarian, and Dairy Free. There is a comprehensive separate Non-Gluten Containing Ingredients (NGCI) menu for both adults and children offering much of the above including the Sunday Roast. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and to advise on menu choice.
