A traditional country pub and restaurant, the Frog & Rhubarb is located in the small village of Slip End close to the major town of Luton in East England. The white painted building suggests traditional country charm with its latticed windows and window boxes brimming with flowers in the summer months. Inside is a mix of traditional features and contemporary styling which combine to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bar and separate dining areas are split over two levels and there is something of interest around every corner. An attractive courtyard garden also provides al fresco dining when weather permits.
Open all day every day, the extensive menus offer a wonderful selection of hearty British classics and dishes with a Mediterranean flavour. From snacks through to three course evening meals, the choice includes tapas, starters, salads, wraps & ciabattas, from the grill (fish, poultry, steak), slow cooked flavoursome dishes (such as Lamb Stifado), burgers, pasta dishes and irresistible desserts. Also available are the Daily Chef’s Specials board and a Children’s Menu. The delicious Sunday Lunch is not to be missed! To accompany your chosen meal the well stocked bar offers a great selection of drinks.
