Conveniently located on the High Street in the busy market town of Northallerton, Lewis and Cooper is a family run business founded in the 18th-century which continues today in the same premises. Originally a renowned purveyor of exceptionally fine foods, it has developed and much expanded over the years to include a gourmet food hall, delicatessen, wine store, speciality hamper department and traditional tea room. Visitors are welcome to browse these well-stocked departments where the very best of local, artisan, British, continental and world produce is available to purchase including a dedicated area for gluten free products. For that extra special treat the renowned Afternoon Tea is not to be missed! Special dietary requirements are also catered for and a separate gluten free menu is provided.
