Seasmiths is a fabulous family run fish and chip takeaway located close to a beautiful beach in the small north Cornish village of Porthtowan just six miles from Truro. It is a well established, very popular venue which has deservedly gained an excellent reputation with locals and visitors alike for its premium quality fish and chips and first class service. The bright, contemporary premises are spotlessly clean and the staff are so welcoming and helpful.
The family are passionate about sourcing only sustainable North Atlantic cod and haddock along with local varieties caught and landed daily. Crafted with care, the menu offers fresh, delicious lightly battered fish (cod, haddock, hake, plaice, lemon sole) and crispy golden chips together with choice of tasty sides including home-made tartare sauce and pickles. Children are catered for too with their own cod & chips and fish fingers. The great news is that the menu is 100% gluten free, absolute heaven for coeliacs! Due to the popularity of Seasmiths, the Click & Collect service is advised. The online menu provides extremely useful allergen information on every item and even the source of the product. All packing materials used are eco friendly.
