A warm welcome awaits you at ‘The Craven Arms’ situated close to the rural village of Giggleswick in North Yorkshire, a truly stunning location from which to explore the famous Yorkshire Dales and Forest of Bowland. This delightful country inn has been beautifully refurbished into a contemporary and stylish venue while incorporating traditional oak and stone features that provide a warm and relaxed feel throughout. The cosy bar has a good selection of draught beers and wines and leads into a separate tastefully furnished dining room. Accommodation offers eight charming ensuite bedrooms with all the facilities the discerning guest would expect. The Craven Arms is a dog friendly hotel and offers wheelchair accessibility in the restaurant and two downstairs rooms. During the warmer months an attractive outside seating area is the perfect place to relax with a drink and enjoy the wonderful views.
The restaurant has established a first class reputation for its excellent home cooked food using fresh, local produce whenever possible. The menus also cater extremely well for dietary needs including Gluten Free (GF), Vegetarian (V) and Vegan (VG). Many Gluten Free Options (GFO) are also available and the friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients. Hot and cold sandwiches are served lunchtime only and are accompanied with a side of chips or cup of homemade soup. Served from lunchtime onwards, the main menu offers appetising Starters & Small Plates, Main Courses (including steak, meat dishes, poultry, fish, seafood, pies, gammon and speciality salads) and much more, plus delicious seasonal vegetables, tasty sides and sauces, and mouthwatering Desserts. To complete your memorable dining experience why not enjoy a selection of local and continental award-winning cheeses. A Children’s Menu is available too and not to be missed is the renowned Craven Arms Sunday Lunch served until early evening.
