This well established family owned garden centre is conveniently located on the A6 close to the market village of Milnthorpe and approximately 7 miles south of Kendal. It has much to offer the visitor including a growing nursery and outdoor plant area stocking an extensive range of plants. There is everything one could need for the garden plus quality furniture and goods for outdoor living. Take time to browse in the excellent shop full of inspiring gifts for the home including beautiful soft furnishings, tableware and accessories, children’s toys and pet corner. After visiting the artisan food hall why not head to the stylish contemporary Garden Cafe with its floor length sliding glass doors opening onto the colourful plant area. Seating also extends outside in the warmer months, the perfect spot to relax with friends over a coffee and bite to eat. Well behaved dogs are also welcome on the terrace.
GF lunch mains include soup, ham, egg & chips, beet salad, and pea and spinach risotto. Or choose from delicious jacket potatoes with various fillings, freshly made sandwiches or simply indulge in irresistible cakes and sweet treats accompanied by premium teas and coffees. GF side dishes include golden crispy chips, house slaw and dressed side salad. Next door The Garden Café, The Wood Fired Kitchen serves freshly made food from its wood-fired oven. Its menu includes breakfast choices, rolls, salads and appetising deli boards. A children’s menu is also available. Even further choice is displayed on the daily specials blackboard.

Opening Hours
The Garden Cafe is open 7 days a week, 9.30am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sundays.
Breakfast is served until 11.30am and lunch service is 12 noon till 3.30pm.
From 3.30pm onwards, we serve refreshments and sweet treats only.
