The beautiful 12th-century Grade II* listed Delapré Abbey is situated within the extensive grounds of Delapré Park in Northamptonshire. Visitors can immerse themselves in the history and beauty of the house or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll in the surrounding gardens.
In 2023 the Abbey’s Charitable Trust took over the management of the Orangery Café and Hibiscus Restaurant. The delightful award-winning Orangery Café is open daily and welcomes families and dogs. Light and airy, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Head Chef Bart Polinski and his dedicated team are proud to use fresh, locally sourced produce whenever possible to offer an extensive selection of delicious hot and cold meals (breakfast/brunch, snacks, light bites, lunches), premium coffees, teas, and irresistible sweet treats. There is also a Kids’ Menu (all their favourites plus special Meal Deal – includes crisps and a drink). The renowned Orangery Afternoon Tea is not to be missed! Indulge in a mouthwatering assortment of savoury snacks, freshly baked scones and scrumptious cakes. For that extra special occasion why not add a glass of champagne. Sunday lunch offers a superb two or three course option and an À la Carte Menu. There is something for everyone at The Orangery.
The team are passionate about catering for dietary needs and the menus offer an excellent range of vegetarian (v) and vegan (vg) meals. Many dishes can also be adapted for Gluten Free and Dairy Free. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer questions regarding ingredients and preparation and advise on menu choice.
For fine dining head for the outstanding Hibiscus Restaurant which offers a 7-course menu together with perfectly paired wines. Head Chef Bart and his talented team once again create superb dishes which are beautifully presented to your table providing a totally unforgettable experience.
It is not surprising that Delapré Abbey is a popular choice for weddings and special occasions of all sizes. Whether you want an outdoor wedding in the beautiful lower-filled Walled Garden, a small intimate ceremony, or a marquee on the lawns, Delapré can provide a bespoke service from ceremony, breakfast, through to evening reception. In addition a wedding cottage provides accommodation for small bridal parties.
