Situated in the historic town of Maldon, the Queen Victoria is a traditional, award-winning family-owned pub and restaurant. It is extremely popular with locals and visitors alike having gained a reputation for its excellent home cooked food and friendly welcome. The painted exterior is bedecked with colourful hanging baskets and to the rear is an attractive patio area with seating and parasols, the perfect spot to relax with a drink during the warmer months. The comfortably furnished interior successfully blends traditional and contemporary decor including beamed ceilings, a feature timber bar, and a cosy log burner. The pub is proud to be at the very heart of the community and many special events are held throughout the year.
The impressive menus offer something for everyone and also cater for special dietary requirements including gluten free which is clearly marked (GF). A separate vegan/vegetarian menu is provided and a comprehensive Allergen List is highlighted. Gluten free options are available across the menus including appetising Nibbles, tasty Starters, delicious Mains (meat, poultry, fish, seafood plus much more) and irresistible Desserts. Specials are also available and the renowned Sunday Roast is not to be missed! The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and to advise on menu selection. In addition there is a fantastic drinks list including extensive range of wines, gins and cocktails plus local real ales and ciders.
