Of picture postcard appearance outside, the spacious interior blends traditional features such as stone walls, log burner and an abundance of mellow wood, with contemporary country styling to create a wonderful cosy atmosphere. Set within mature gardens, there is a large beer garden with patios and a children’s play area, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink in the warmer months.
The restaurant has gained a reputation for its first class food using the best local produce whenever possible. The chef and team are passionate about catering for those with dietary requirements including gluten free, vegetarian (v) and vegan options (VO). Friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients and advise on menu choice. A fantastic separate gluten free menu is provided (also one for children) and offers a good selection of tasty Nibbles & Starters, choice of Burgers (served with fries & coleslaw in a seeded bun with salad garnish), and delicious Mains (fish, meat, and poultry dishes) with good range of accompanying sides. There is also a choice of irresistible desserts to nicely round off your memorable dining experience. In addition the extensive drinks list includes a wide range of cask ales.
