Locally owned by a husband and wife team, YayLo is proud to be the town’s only dedicated 100% Gluten Free independent coffee house. Exceptional cakes, bakes, savouries and much more are lovingly handcrafted in-house fresh each day to be enjoyed inside or bought from the impressive display cabinets. The deceptively spacious café is modern with a cosy, harmonious vibe perfect for relaxing with a freshly baked treat and a delicious coffee or speciality tea. The drinks menu also offers plant-based and dairy free options such as Vegan strawberry milkshake, smoothies and coffee with plant-based milk.
The team at YayLo are passionate about catering for dietary needs. Everything comes 100% Gluten Free ensuring a safe and worry free experience for Coeliacs and those who are gluten intolerant. To put your mind at rest the friendly and knowledgeable staff are only too happy to answer questions regarding preparation and ingredients. The talented bakers can also offer Dairy Free, Vegetarian and Vegan bakes. The menu includes delicious pancakes with a choice of toppings, a mouth watering selection of cakes & treats, sweet & savoury scones, toasties with a choice of dreamy fillings, superb sandwiches and Vegetarian & plant based quiches. Vegan donuts and ice cream are also available. YayLo’s incredible Gluten Free or Vegan Afternoon Tea is simply not to be missed! It comes with a sweet scone served with jam and cream, five various sweet treats and a savoury option of either quiche or a sandwich, together with a free refillable tea or one hot coffee/barista made drink. The contents can be adapted to suit other specific dietary requests, please discuss with the team when booking. The Afternoon Tea can also be ordered online for collection, or delivered via Deliveroo and Just Eat.
